About Clear Drains

Clear Drain Services has been serving customers across Ellesmere Port, Cheshire, Wirral and the wider North West for many years. Founded by Joe Richards, the business began as Joe Richards Drainage in 2006 after Joe had already built extensive industry experience dating back to 1990.

Through hard work, technical expertise and a commitment to customer service, the company steadily expanded and became Clear Drain Services Limited in 2010. What started as a one-man operation has grown into a trusted family-run business supporting homeowners, businesses, schools, hospitals, estate agents and local authorities throughout the region.

Today, we continue to build on those foundations by combining decades of experience with modern equipment, professional standards and a customer-first approach.

As the business has grown, family members have joined the company, bringing shared values, trust and a strong team ethic that continues today.

Whether answering calls in the office, carrying out CCTV surveys, operating excavation equipment or responding to emergency call-outs, every member of the team shares the same commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
